Introducing West Kent Business Advisor Network: How your business can have a social impact

The purpose of the Enterprise Adviser Network (EAN) is to create powerful, lasting connections between local businesses and schools and colleges in their area in order to close the gaps in enterprise education, whilst increasing young people’s access to a wide range of employer engagements and activities.

Nicole and Caroline will present on their experience as being Enterprise Advisors working with local schools, Weald of Kent Girls Grammar school and TOGGs. These roles are volunteer roles that they undertake alongside their day jobs. Being a part of the network has many benefits – an ability to strategically support schools with career strategy and shaping the future workforce as well as creating meaningful links with local employers that benefit both the schools and the employers e.g. enterprise projects and challenges.

Caroline is building her own business as a personal coach having recently completed a coaching qualification. Prior to this she has worked in HR roles within Financial Services and Insurance in the UK and Internationally, settling back in to Tunbridge Wells 7 years ago.

Nicole is a Director of Advento Staffing – a technology recruitment agency based in Tunbridge Wells. Started eight years ago, she is responsible for the operational side of the business – marketing, finance, HR. Nicole is the lead for Advento Star Women, which we inspires, supports and promotes women in technology.
